⚡️Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer and cloud-computing company, which could be hurt by tariffs on items sold through its website and components for its data centers, is discussing industry-wide advertising campaigns and more extensive government lobbying, a person familiar with the matter told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

The BJD walked out prior to the debate while the Shiv Sena skipped the session, meaning both parties will abstain from the no-trust vote. In a fiery attack this morning, Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticised the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for demonetisation, GST, the Rafale deal, the incidents of lynching in the country, among other things. The Prime Minister is expected to reply to the debate later today. The Speaker has scheduled the no-trust vote at 6 pm this evening.

⚡️A day before the no-confidence motion, NDA ally Shiv Sena has confirmed that the party will support the Narendra Modi-led central government.
⚡️According to reports, Shiv Sena will vote against the no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha on Friday.
⚡️“We will support the BJP. A formal announcement may be made by this evening,” a source close to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray told PTI.

⚡NEW DELHI: Home minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday told the Lok Sabha that the ministry had asked social media service providers to identify handles spreading fake news, which were responsible for recent incidents of mob violence.
⚡Singh said the ministry issued an advisory to states after incidents of lynching were reported.
⚡He was replying to Congress’s K C Venugopal’s question in Zero Hour on the recent incidents of mob violence, including attacks on Swami Agnivesh in Pakur district of Jharkhand and trolling of external affairs minister.
